| 03:50 PM ET  09.04 | Florida moved up two spots in this week's AP poll to #4, and held its #3 ranking in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Gators passed Texas, which fell to #7 due to a lackluster opener, and Michigan, which dropped out of both polls entirely after its shocking loss to Appalachian State.
