First off I'm a Michigan fan and I'm from Ohio. I'm currently deployed in Kuwait with the US Army. I was enjoying the opening weekend of football proudly wearing my Michigan jersey. As the scores were flashing I was taking some heat from the mob, I kept saying "it's not over, they will come back, just wait.." Then as the game continued I was getting worried, maybe they won't come back. Well we all know that they didn't. It's bad enough being from Ohio and being a Michigan fan, but to be deployed and with an Ohio unit it is even worse. My season of hope is gone. First off I do not think Carr should be fired or resign. It does the program no good to go through all that mess right now. The season can be saved all they need to do is win out. They could still beat Ohio State and go to a BCS game if, and the big if is the rest of the BIG Ten has a good strong season, something it has not done in a few years they will be fine. I don't agree that they should be gone from the Top 25, it was only 1 game. They should still be ranked...20th or somehting but ranked. Carr has done this in the past just not the first game, with this out of the way the TEAM should be motivated enough to get the job done. After the season he can resign and let them (AD) clean the house. The problem with Carr is that he is to conservitive, he has lost a lot of games in the past because of his play calling. We can put up with him for one more season then start to hope again.

First off - thanks for your service - my little brother is over there too right now at Camp Buehring...
I agree the season doesn't have to be lost for Michigan. Winning out and, especially, beating Ohio State would be their redemption. I hope Carr can use the episode to drive the team to "NEVER let it happen again..." But if the team lays down the rest of the season, unfortunately I don't see Carr around for the next season.

They will go 9-3 with losses to Wisconsin and Penn State/Ohio State.....Even Michigan State looks good.....Quit being a myopic fan, Carr always underachives and goes 8-4 or 9-3 with a loaded roster.....Cant believe he still has a job with the legend of Bo hanging over his head......

If they went 11-1 they wldnt save their season, thats a BIG IF with their D.....A loss to App State kills their strength of schedule......Moot point, Best case scenario is 9-3 with all their Big 10 opponents looming and poring over the App State game tape......
