I really don't know what to say after yesterdays game. I don;t know how a team comes back from a loss like that especially so late in the season but the Phillies have been coming back all year so you never know. It is obvious that the Phillies should have won the game but it wasn't like the Braves were getting good solid hits. Chris Roberson himself in right field should have had two of the balls. Myers pitching to get 5 outs walked3 and had a wild pitch. I can't right anymore about the game. just can't.
Reports say that the Phillies are interested in trying to get Bob Wickman in an extra large Phillies uniform. He is due to clear waivers today if no one claims him. Why not? it's not like he can be any worse than what we have.
How bad are things in Houston. Ed Wade interviewed for the vacant General Manager's job yesterday. Ruben Amaro Jr. interviews today. I am hoping we don't lose Amaro. I am for firing Gillick and promoting Amaro like yesterday.
Phillies and the Dodgers are three behind the Padres in the Wild Card. The Dodgers end a series in Chicago this afternoon and go to San Francisco for three games tomorrow. San Diego goes to Colorado for 3 ( Colorado is 1 game behind the Phils in the Wild Card and 4 overall) and the Phillies are home for 3 against the Marlins.
