Tonight marks the start of the 2007 NFL season (I know that no one needs me to tell them that, but it sounds exciting).

I would be happy to just see a game where the only scoring that happens is a field goal early in the first quarter. This is because of how boring baseball and other sports that are going on are to watch. I still enjoy watching baseball, but I'm itching for even the smallest hit by a defensive player in an NFL game.

We NFL fans don't just get any old game to watch tonight. We get the Colts vs. the Saints, a game that could be the most exciting to watch all year. I, as well as many other NFL fans, are looking foward to watching the Colts defend their Superbowl win, while Peyton Manning is poised for another Manning-like season, which speaks for itself. Just as exciting to watch would be Reggie Bush's start to his sophmore year, which many scouts and football people say will be a fantastic year for him.

They say it takes about 500 times of repeating the opposite of your habit to break the habit that you have, and there have been less than 500 Sundays between the Superbowl and now. This would explain why we are itching to watch some football.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!???????????

I am ready for some football, but the Saints were not. Hopefully the rest of the weekend actually offers some competitive games. Meow.
