My wife taught UGA running back Kregg Lumpkin in the first grade.  She had to move his desk up next to hers.  She called his Daddy in on several ocassions to whip his rear end.  He wore his cleats to class, sometimes.  On field day, she said Kregg could outrun everyone, even the 6th graders.  I knew that young man's name, because I heard about him almost every night.  One evening, I told my wife to go easy on him, because, after all, he might end up playing for my UGA bulldawgs one day.
