(Clap, Clap, Clap), I'd like to start out by congratulating Peyton Manning, the Super Bowl MVP, the world champion. Congratulations Peyton, you've made it one week. Have you learned yet that it's a whole lot harder to stay on top, than it is to get to the top? Have you realized yet that EVERYBODY is after you? Has the paranoia started to kick in Peyton? It should, because you are walking around with a huge target on your chest, and EVERYBODY wants to take that MVP & that world championship. Peyton you've got a lot to learn as a champion, and not a lot of time to learn it in. Defending a championship for an entire season is a herculean labor. It is a series of sprints, meeting challengers one by one. But it is also a marathon that you must not lose sight of because as a defending champion you can have only one goal for the season and that is to win the championship again. And the moment you get distracted thinking about the marathon someone beats you on a sprint, and you lose the play, or the game, or take a ferocious hit from a defender. And Peyton, your AFC opponents really have you in their sights. I'll give you 3-1 odds that you can even get back to the Super Bowl. But in the NFC, which has shown little to no improvement from last season's mediocrity, has a very clear front runner, a certain team newly experienced with a tremendously deep roster, a certain team known as...DA BEARS, DA BEARS!!! Mr. Peyton Manning, Da Bears will be back in the Super Bowl to take what is rightfully theirs. The question is Peyton, will you be there? And if you are, Bears 63 Colts 9.
OK, lightning round. Certain Super Bowl winner 2008-2012? Pat-
DA BEARS
That is correct. Bears v. Robert Fulton in inventing the steamboat? Todd-
DA BEARS
That's correct. OK True or false, Ditka can affect the weather according to his mood? Carl-
True
It is true. OK what if the Bulls were ... -Todd
Bulls 182-61
That is correct, I'll finish the question though. What if the Bulls were playing Phoenix and Jordan played the entire game in a golf cart, Bulls 182 Phoenix 61, very good Todd. OK Final question, Bears v. Bulls. (tick tock, tick tock). OK let's see here Pat has crossed out Bears and Bulls 4 times. Sorry that's incorrect. Carl has written "Beaurlls". OK, not the answer we were looking for. Todd writes "The senseless waste of pitting these two mighty forces against each other, like matter v. antimatter, would be a tragedy not only for the two teams involved (continued on back of card)...but for our planet. All nations must band together to make sure such a conflict never takes place." THAT IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT TODD, YOU ARE THE WINNER! And the grand prize, 5 minutes in the cheese fry booth.
We'll see you at Super Bowl XLII!
