This is my list and is completely opinionated. So if you like cold hard facts, go read something else. With each of these I will have ratings. There will be an exclusiveness rating (how easy or hard it is to get in), an activeness rating (if there is a lot going on in the group), thrill (how fun it is to be in the group), and an overall rating (how good this group is). Each will be on a scale of 1-10. Last edition's ranking is in parentheses.
1. Chat Room Group (NR)- From unranked to number one. But this group deserves it. It is a private fan group founded by Big Ben68 on July 28th, 2007. It only has 16 members. The purpose of this group? Talk. Talk. Talk. That's the basis of the group. It is a chat room. Nothing much to say but it is THE group on FanNation.
Exclusiveness- 8
Activeness- 10
Thrill- 9
Overall- 9

2. "FEEL THE STEEL"--Steeler Nation Fan Group (1)- A couple words to describe the group? Massive blogging. The group has (what seems to be) thousands of blog posts. Everytime I check out the group there is like 3 or 4 new posts. Anyways, it's a public fan group founded by IRISH-DOC on May 5th, 2007. It has 192 members and is one of the biggest on the entire site.

3. Fannation National Championship (5)- This group just seems to be getting better and better every edition. Excellent group started by NCshvDavid on July 28th, 2007. It's a public group with 84 members which is 29 more members. It has been highly successful in having members of FanNation rank the top 25 colllege football teams in the nation.

Thrill- 8
Overall- 7

4. The FanNation Fraternity (2)- Dropped a little bit due to its recent lack of activity. The throwdown league is still going pretty well though. This group is very exclusive, similar to the Chat Room Group. It is private and was founded by Basketball PG 14 on June 18, 2007. It has 26 members.

5. NFL Fan Club (3)- Still a very, big group with 204 members. It is a huge group and is very active, especially on the message board. They have a pretty decent throwdown tournament as well. It was founded by ravensfan on June 6th, 2007.

Just Missed: Throwdown Warriors, FanNation Hall of Fame, OATTA, Tournament Throwdowns, FanNation Fantasy Football League, SoccerNation.
Top 3 Throwdown Leagues and Tournaments
1. Tournament Throwdowns (NR)- They have an absolutely great tournament going on right now called the Grand Tournament. It has a ton of people in it. Probably the largest tourney I've ever witnessed on this site. It's a great group created by NCshvDavid (he makes a lot of good groups, doesn't he?).
2. FanNation Fantasy Football League (2)- Back again this week at the same position. Haven't seen much but that should change soon with football season starting to heat up. This is a group created by Big Ben68 (yes, he also created the Chat Room Group). They have a fantastic tournament usually with great topics and great competitors.
3. The FanNation Fraternity (1)- Down from the number one spot due to some inactivity. They need to get the throwdown league back on track if they want to stay in the rankings. They usually have a good league with great, and I mean great, competitors. It could very possibly be the most compeitive throwdown league or tourney on this site.
Just Missed: OATTA, NFL Fan Club, Another Throwdown Tourney Group, MLB Throwdown Tournaments, FanNation Baseball Tournament.
