I couldn't believe my eyes when i got my Sports Illustrated. It had Peyton Manning on the cover, and it was all about the upcoming NFL season. I was flipping through it enjoyably, and then, i got to page #187. I did a double take, then just gazed in awe at this excellent advertisement.
Peyton Manning with his fist up, while to the left, Urlacher looks like he is getting knocked out by Manning's uppercut.
Tom Brady, looking jealous that Peyton and Vince Young has a more predominant role in the football.
Peter King being Peter King.
And Dr.Z being blatantly h0mosexual
And then, Nick Saban and Donovan McNabb caught my eye. What were they pointing at? Then, I saw it. IT was a small blue banner in the lower right corner of the ad. It read,
Fannation: The republic of Sport
in size 3 font. At first I could not believe my eyes. This was the answer to all our cries for fannation to get some media respect. This tiny blue banner marks a new age for fannation.com. An age where millions of members join the Mighty Republic of Sport, all because os a banner 1 inch and 2 Centimeters in length.
I'm waiting for the rush to come, it will be here any day now....
