Chad Ochocinco asked DeMaurice Smith, the NFLPA Executive Director, the simple question of "how do you view the possibility of football not being played in 2011"
his response was maybe the dumbest thing ive ever heard:
"On a scale of 1 to 10," Smith said Thursday, "it's a 14."
Are you retarted sir?
first off its on a scale of 1 to 10... 14 is not in that range
ok but really i want to talk about the chance of a lockout
my opinoin: the NFL will not have a lockout in 2011
because think about it- baseball is America's Pastime
football is America's Present
football is way too popular to be shut down for, the most recent Super Bowl was the most viewed televised event in the history of the universe and the viewing keeps going up every year and shuold next year
no one wins in a lockout, the players, fans, owners, etc.
think about it in another way, this is like a player and a team negotiating a contract- in most cases they eventually agree on something and i cant help but feel that this will be resolved with no problem, probably when the actual feeling of not having football sinks in
to tell you the truth, i am not the least bit worried right now and i will never be too worried
if i was asked the question "how do you view the possibility of football not being played in 2011"
on a scale of 1 to 10 i would say -4
