I almost don't know what to say. Look at the remaining schedule and it's conceivable that the Wolverines might not win a game all season.
It looks like Ron English started the JV squad...from the local high school, on defense. Did he not know he was playing Oregon? It was like they were playing underwater all day. They are so sloooow. I know they lost a good part of their squad, but how can they go from so good to so bad in 8 months. It's night and day...amazing. Chad Henne on the other hand is Mr. Consistent, consistently disappointing. He might be the most immobile QB in the NCAAA. He's got a great arm, but the boy cannot move. I've seen statues that are more nimble-footed.
The only positives: Mike Hart had a nice day as always, even after he got injured midway through the game. Chad Henne got injured as well and had to sit out the 2nd half. This let us have a first look at Ryan Mallett, a freshman out of Texas. Unless Henne gets a more serious injury this will probably be the only time we see him until next season, but at least this gave him a little game experience.
Wow am I depressed. Please resign Lloyd.
Chuck Norris once qualified with a top speed of 324 mph at the Daytona 500, without a car.
