Dave Serrano is leaving UC Irvine to take the head coaching job at Cal State Fullerton. This comes one week after he told everyone that he was happy at UC Irvine and had no interest in the Fullerton job. Dave Serrano, a former Fullerton player and assistant coach, was Fullerton main person to go after it was clear the Rick Vanderhook would not take the job. This opening took place when George Horton left for Oregon to start up that program. Now, who will UC Irvine hire as there coach. There Could be a lot of coaching changes on the west coast this fall.
