The Seahawks get their first win of the season! It should be the first of many (at least I hope it will). The first half Seattle's big stars showed that they were a little bit rusty from an inactive pre-season. The second half though Alexander hit his stride and showed confidence with his foot. Hasslebeck was awesome and showed that he is ready for another run at the Superbowl. When the Seahawks let go of TE J. Stevens I was pretty up set, but his replacement Marcus Pollard had an outstanding game both blocking and receiving wise. I hope the injury to WR D.J. Hackett isn't serious because we need him and his size. With that said I thought Engram was awesome (as always) and Burelson was good. Branch did not have a catch but he did his job with down - field blocking. When he heats up the offense will really start to shine.
The Defense was out-of-this-world. They were gang tackling and were really bringing the lumber. As is typical with Seattle's D, they did struggle with the Bucs bruising RB Williams. They might have bent, but they never came close to breaking. I think the furthest the Bucs came was to the our 18 yard line, and only once did they accomplish that. What I was happy about was there were NO missed tackles which have plagued the Seahawks defense in recent years. Lofa is going to be one of the best LB's to ever play, they guy is amazing.
I know that there is a long way to go, but I liked what I saw. Keep it of Seahawks!!
