The Chase Format

Unlike other sports ,  Nascar allows it losers to continus to have a factor in the last 10 races ? My thought is the last 12 driver's should be on a seperate point system than the rest of the field , Highest finishing spot regardless of how the race end's . 125 for 1st ,  115 for second ,  110 for third , 105 for 4th and 100 for 5th and so on regardless where they finish in the race . Keep the 10 point's for most laps led and 5 points for leading a lap NOT ! under caution . Why should a guy in the chase be taken out halfway through the race by a noob or rookie ? That would be like watching the Superbowl and watching a player on a team that didnt make the playoff's tackle the quarterback and calling it fair ? Untill they make Major changes to the Chase , Consider it a failure and makes NO sense ... So far to me the Chase Format SUCKS !
