09:34 PM ET  02.23 | So first before anyone comes down hating on me, hear me out. Frank Mir has done nothing very beneficial to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. He likes to think he is a lot better than what he really is but there is no reason for it. Who has he beat really that has had any sort of a name? Nobody really asides from Big Nog. His most notable wins are over Tim Sylvia, which look where he is now, and Brock Lesnar, which was poor. His win over Cheick Kongo was rather unimpressive seeing as Cheick has never won against anybody of a high caliber and shoudn't be fighting main event bouts. None of those wins was very impressive. Frank broke Sylvia's arm to win, and got lucky with Lesnar's first UFC bout. So why is he such a loudmouth? Today the UFC had apologized for Frank Mir's latest actions, stating he wants Lesnar "to be the first man to die of octagon-related injuries." Talk about making Mixed Martial Arts look bad. He complained about Brock's comments at UFC 100 saying how it wasn't professional and such, but look at what Frank just did. He's made himself look like a clown and a hypocrite. Frank just needs to disappear for a while.
