Tennessee women's soccer player Devon Swaim was named Lady Vol Athlete of the week. She scored the winning goal in Sundays 1-0 overtime win over Wake Forest. This is her first award of here career.
The redshirt freshman forward notched the game winner in the 98th minute, helping the 13th-ranked Lady Vols record their 21st win all-time against a rated opponent. Swaim received the ball on the left hand side of the box on a free kick from junior goalkeeper Jaimel Johnson, finishing on a volley past Wake Forest goalkeeper Amanda Barasha.
