New Orleans- With so much talent; is this a year the coach has   Bush is a good player but it will take more than his ability to win against good teams.  It could be a huge let down year for the Saints; if they do not have a leader step up.  Bush is a great player but he cannot win big games on his own.  Brees has to be consistent all year and then defense has to show up every game and be consistent.  A poor start and lack of leadership could make it a long year for Saints fans.- pretender

Green Bay- This is probally Brett's last year and this team is pretty good.  I believe that they will have to win at least 8 games to keep the coach out of the hot seat.  Green Bay has struggled the last few years and they will not settle for a average or losing year again.- Contender

Pittsburg- A talented and loaded team with an inexperienced coach.  How long will they stay calm if they start to really struggle?  I do think they are a good team and it will be a great year for the "Steeler Nation".  However, they are expected to rebound from last year and experience or not; the coach better win.- Contender

New England- Loaded with talent and a Hall of Fame QB;  the team on paper should win it all.  With crazy talk of a scandle with video taping and the coach that seems ready to walk away; will winning it all make the coach leave on top or falling short cause him to walk away?- Contender

Bufflao- Okay, watching them lose years ago four straight times in the SB was hard but seeing a team that should get better lose; is worse.  Is this the year that they start cleaning house in management if they still cannot win or improve.  "Wait until next year" is over in Bufflao.  A close but poor start for the bills...- Pretender

Denver- A hall of fame coach and great program has struggled getting back to the big game.  The team looks promising with a great future at QB.  They always have RB's and a decent defense.  This is a program that will not settle for another let down year.  The coach seems to talk about his future allot and this year will decide his longterm goals.- Contender

Atlanta- It was a do or die year but with Vicks mess; they can lose all of their games and blame Vick.  It is a program that has been in real trouble with an aging team.  This will not be their year...- Neither

St. Louis- Once a great offense now much older.  Their defense has issues and their window of winning is closing.  They have a great RB but need to be consistent in other areas.  They do have issues and they could have a rollar coaster season.- Coin Flip

Oakland- A management that has little vision.  A over priced QB will make little difference to the outcome.  A once proud organization that is now a joke.  At least they have a high paid QB that will spend the season running for his life.  Thanks Al!- ??- Pretender

Tampa Bay- It is do or die for the coach.  He will have to win 8-9 games or he will be gone from Tampa.  They have issues and it will not be easy...The consistent play of Garcia has shown new Life in TB!  It is still uncertain but the door has opended.- Contender

Seattle- A good team but clearly not as strong as years past.  The coach better rebuild or he will be gone.  Seattle has high hopes for a team that will compete but struggle.  I am sorry I am not sold on the coaches vision for the future.  He has talent but this team has real issues.  I know many would disagree and they will be in the hunt but this team has real questions...- Contender

Dallas- A good team with issues on defense.  They allowed 34 points against the Giants.  They will play much better teams in the future... Coach has at least two years to lose but Dallas expects to win and win now.  They are good enough to be a contender.- Contender

San Diego- One of the best records last year and they fire the coach?!!  They are still talented but now have a coach that has struggled to win.  Good team with a great RB; the coach has no honeymoon and has to win now.  L T could have a huge season.  LT needs to close his mouth and play. I guess they wish now they had stayed with their coach and his experience at winning.- Coin Flip

Washington- Joe is a hall of fame coach but has struggled since returning. He has even said he dreaded summer camp and said he was dreading another year!?  This is a make or break year for him and he will have to at least have a winning season to return.  If the QB plays consistent and defense plays every week; who know? Coin Flip 

New York Jets- Last year was great but the QB is hurt again.  Their seems to be several issues and it could be a long year for the Jets.  The coach has time and the Jets will be a little patient.  The team has real talent but the injury to the QB will be a real issue for leadership and consistency.  Their talent will keep them close but they will struggle.  They need a healthy QB and a leader to have a winning season.- pretender

Cincinnati- A good QB with a ltalented team.  I believe is a make or break year for the coach.  He cannot just win; he will have to win his division and maybe even go to the SB.  Unless their defense shows up; it will be a shocking and horrible season.- Coin Flip

Kansas City- A team that has always had defense issues and now has offense issues.  They have a great RB but the QB position and receivers are shaky.  Herm has had a honeymoon but this is a must win year for him.  It will be a long year unless a leader steps up as QB.  I just moved from KC and saw the lack of vision and leadership up close.  It will be a big year for Johnson but a long year for Chief fans.  It will be a long season...- Pretender

Indy- They will compete well again and are a solid team.  Coming off a SB win makes it a nice year for Tony.  They will be as strong as last year and a team that will be hard to beat.  There are a few teams that will give them real trouble but this is a talented team and they are focused on a repeat.  It may not happen but they will be in the hunt again.- Contender

New York Giants- Eli's injury is another chapter of the mess in New York.  A team cannot win that seems to ahte their coach and each other.  The coach seems to be at odds with his team and the Giants are looking at a long season.  Giving up 40+ points to Dallas showed a defense that is horrible.  It will be the coaches last year and management better clean house.  This team will struggle all year getting along with one another and staying in games will be hard.  The coach needs to go...- Pretender

Sanfrancisco- Gore is for real and they have real talent.  The question is can the QB be consistent and lead this team?  Their defense will get better and they have a bright future.  If the QB can actually play well and make good decisions.. they may surprise teams.  They have a chance to bring this organization back to the place of days of old; it will take time. This team could have a shot at the playoffs if the QB will be the leader they expect and Gore stays healthy.- Coin Flip
