1. Indianapolis Colts-The Colts would have been 2 or 3 in the preseason, but after their pounding of the Saints, they deserve the number one spot.  There were absolutely no flaws in their game.  The defense didn't give up a touchdown.  The offense scored 34 points.  Tony Ugoh didn't give up a sack, and Freeney applied major pressure on Brees.  If I were to do a game report card, they would have had A's all around.

2. New England Patriots-The Pats were almost as dominant as the Colts.  They did, however, give up a touchdown on defense, and they didn't score 41 points.  Besides that, Brady was just as good, the Maroney-Morris duo was surprisingly good, and Wes Welker looked like he earned that spot on Peter King's rankings.  Also, the Pats won this game fair and square.  Oh wait...

3. San Diego Chargers-The Bolts offense did not look very good at all.  They only scored fourteen points, and LaDanian Tomlinson was horrendous.  Maybe that was the Bears defense, but they didn't look too hot out there.  They need to score more points against their AFC counterparts to get the heralded first round bye.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers-Wow this one was hard.  The Steelers won in a convincing fashion, but it was against the Browns.  If you don't destroy the Browns, you should drop in the Power Rankings.  Roethlisberger appeared to be healthy again, and Willie Parker showed us what he can do given the opportunity.

5. Denver Broncos-Two miracles involved this game.  A real miracle is Kevin Everett's hopeful recovery from his life-threatening injury, and the second being the minor miracle of the kicking unit making it out on the field on time.  13 seconds!?  You have to be kidding me.  Great hustle by Elam and the rest of the unit.

6. Cincinnati Bengals-The win over the Ravens solidfies them as contenders for the AFC North crown and possibly the AFC itself.

7. Dallas Cowboys-It looks like the hiring of the defensive-minded Wade Phillips has really helped out that unit.

8. Seattle Seahawks-So much for being too old.  They looked solid against the Bucs.

9. Baltimore Ravens-So they didn't win.  At least their defense gave me loads of fantasy points.  Thanks Ed!

10. Chicago Bears-The Gators just produce the best quarterbacks in the pros?  Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel, Jesse Palmer, and now Rex Grossman.
