Okay, so everyone and their mother is calling for the Buckeyes to get beat on Saturday, saying they looked bad in their wins and it was ugly. I just wanted to remind all of you out there that this is typical Tressall ball. Aside form last year, Coach T doesnt blow people out and look pretty doing it. In 2002, which is kinda like this year, they won ugly all the time. It plays into his favor for everyone to think the Bucks are week or ripe for an upset. He wins by field positon, special teams (Small is back this week dont worry about punt returns), and defense. Maybe Washington does by some strange chance get it done this weekend, but all you OSU fans dont forget the past. This is old school Tress, last year was an exception not a change in style. The Bucks will be fine, they will win ugly and run the ball like they used to, eat up the clock, and not let the other team get across the 50 although it would be nice to see #10 run out of that tunnel one more time....
remember 14-7, is still a win....ask UM if they would rather win ugly and be 2-0 OR .....

That's what I'm saying man. Tressel is back to his usual ways, so OSU will no lose to UW. I made a throwdown about Louisville being the most likely to lose, but most people commented on the OSU game. OSU is not going to get upset. People can only see how Washington beat Boise St., even tho they probably didn't watch the game, and how OSU struggled in the first half against Akron, even tho they won by a comfortable score. I'm with you man; I'll go one further and say that Louisville is much more vulnerable than OSU.

Amen. A win is beautiful and point margin is way overrated.
As much as I hate OSU I respect their strong defensive emphasis. Do you think there's relationship between OSU's consistently good seasons and their style of play? Better bet on it!
Ahhh! I remember the days when Bama won the way OSU does... That was back under Gene Stallings (the last time we won a NC), but to many fans and boosters Gene wasn't flashy enough or pass enough. What a joke? We got what we deserved for running him off -- a decade of frustration. Make Nick Saban can restore balance to the force with his emphasis on defense.
