Knicks can buy out Eddy Curry's contract and save two million. The thinking is that they can use the two million to find a center that's better than Curry.
I'm not so sure about that.
There's still a posibility Curry can mesh with McGrady, Lee, Sergio, Gallo & Chandler to form a decent core. Given true centers don't grow on trees maybe it's best to ride him out and see what we can get. Having players that are hungry to win (not to eat) around him will keep him in shape and productive.
Afterall if he does not stay healthy and contribute next season his career is over so he should be worth keeping for now. No way in hell Lebron entertains round figures in the locker room.
He can also be used as motivational speaker on MSG to promote a cure for obesity.
