Well,it has sunk in about Greg.
I really feel like we will STILL have a very fun season. One must remember something.
We were so happy with this team long before we had even a sniff about the draft.
I think I even said in a blog earlier,Greg was the cherry on the cake..
We still have the cake ! We still have a young team that we adore.
I heard tonight that Greg's injury is not as bad as Zach's..
That really gave me a lift.
Of course those are two very different bodies and sizes..but it still made me feel better.
We never have had Greg in a game,but we really fell in love with him and his wondeful goofy personality. We are there with him thru the year whether he plays or not..
To me he is a keeper .
Ok,that is my heart taking.
I hope for his sake he can be the player he was in practice...damn everbody just gets out of the way when he is
going for the ball ...he is a thing of beauty on the court.. and the neat thing about it is..he doesn't bowl people
over..he is just big like a car coming up the lane. Not like a certain other big guy,who played like he was a bowling ball knocking down pins..

Report Offensive CommentI have a new photo in my collection,and I have never been prouder of a Blazer in my life...(ok,watching poor Sabas play with his broken body is a close second).
Greg is in his Blazer uniform on Media Day and standing with his crutches.
I just broke out with a big smile when I saw it and my heart swelled up with joy and pride. I had just heard his press conference and how excitedhw was for the team..That's what got me..He talked about his T E A M.
I will have so much fun and be screaming for a win for our boys this year.
There is no greater joy than for an underdog win,and I will bet we will ahve our fair share of them this year.
I know one middle aged lady that will be screaming her head off for her boys this year. And one mighty big guy that will be screaming his lungs out for his team.
Oh what joy !
I am so excited for this year to start.
I suppose there are guys that can't believe me when I say this.
but it's the god's truth.
I am just as excited for our guys this year as if Greg is playing..
He will give them alot of energy and hope.
Go Blazers,my team is back.
You may not notice it in the win column but believe me,this is a young team to love,and we do.
