the broncos are coming off a tough but thrilling road victory in buffalo.  the raiders visit invesco field on sunday.

sort of a homecoming for cooper carlisle and gerard warren.

my keys for sunday's game:

1) the broncos must run the ball.  i will probably say this every week because this is what the broncos do.  this will keep the pressure off jay cutler to do it all; which he showed last week he can, if he has to.  but the broncos don't want to make this a weekly occurence.

2) the broncos must stop the run... the whole game.  marshawn lynch was starting to have his way with the defense later in last week's game.  make culpepper throw against bailey and bly.

3) someone must step in for the injured dominique foxworth.  jeff shoate played well in his place last week.  karl paymah returns after missing game 1 with a concussion.

4) jay cutler must make smart decisions with the football and keep mistakes to a minimum.  he played well against the bills, but he still had his share of "rookie" moments.

5) special teams must improve.  kick return coverage problems continue to plague the team.  jason elam cannot miss half of his field goal attempts.

after playing .500 ball at home last year, the broncos need to put the advantage back in home field.

prediction:  broncos 24, raiders 13.

all ready!
