Last night I was scrambling to put together a worthwhile Carolina v. Duke preview and it was horrible (both the game and the preview). This morning I figured I would delete the post and recap the game. This post will just be a depressing way of saying, " Go ahead stab a knife in it, all the damage has already been done".

I. Statistics

II. Senior Night

Tonight sucked for Marcus Ginyard and Deon Thomspon who scored 6 and 11 points respectively. These are the only two seniors on Carolina's roster who I actaully know or care enough about to know that they are seniors. The entire season has sucked for Ginayard and Thompson.

On the other hand, Zoubek had his second straight 13 rebound game on Senior Night and Scehyer had an excellent game to finally win against Carolina at home. Congratulations.

III. What's Next

The ACC Tournament is next and this is the last chance for Carolina to get to the big dance. The Tar Heels are 5-11 in conference play (31.25%). Duke will likely earn the last #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. This is a season to forget for the Heels unless we somehow manage to participate in March Madness and get our asses into the Final Four.
