Now what will the media talk about? The Big House finally has something to cheer about. After being upset by App. State 34-32 and then being embarrassed and almost shut out to the Oregon Ducks 39-7, the Wolverines shut out the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 38-0. Is this where Michigan turns there season around? Or is it just an easy win, considering that in all of ND's games their offense hasn't put up any touchdowns? The Wolverines will have their chance to prove what one it was in their next game, against 3-0 Penn State.
Many people thought Michigan was done and would lose to Notre Dame and slide to 0-3. But it was ND who dropped to 0-3 while Mich. cruised to their first win and a not-so-normal 1-2 record. They finally got that off them. They don't have to worry about going winless. But now they have to worry about JoePa and the Nittany Lions. I'd talk about how they will get thrown around by PSU, but I can't right now. They actually have something to cheer about.
Now the question mark is on Notre Dame, at least for a little bit. When will they win? Will they win? When will their offense wake up? They're going to have to show there's still some fight in the Irish when they go up against Michigan St. next, who just came off a win against Pitt and are 3-0.
All I can say is this NCAA season is the strangest one I have seen. You never can tell for sure if you will win.
