This season (like most) I am involved in survival football, which is a style of football picking in which you pick a single winner each week, but you can only use a team once a season. IE you can only pick the Colts, Patriots, etc. to win one game.
Each week I will post my prediction in my league, if you happen to become involved in something similar feel free to follow my picks.
In week one, I took Seattle to beat Tampa Bay at home.
Week 2
There are a lot of favorable match-ups for Survival Football this week, so it shoud be a relatively easy week at the office. The Bengals face a Browns team on the road that looks like they have no chance of scoring offensive touchdowns this year. The Bears host a Chiefs team that looked similarly abysmal. Also, it is safe to assume the Saints will avenge an Indy effort against the Buccaneers which may be missing its starting QB and RB. Even some decent edge plays exist this week, meaning a game that is likely, but not a lock (which you are forced to play often late in the year). The Panthers host the Texans, Jacksonville hosts the lowly Atlanta Falcons, Dallas plays the Dolphins, and Seattle travels to Arizona.
However, this week I am going go with the Denver Broncos at home against the Oakland Raiders. Even with Daunte Culpepper looking to start, the Raiders lack the weapons to go toe to toe with Denver a mile high. I've praised Denver in every football thread, so I won't get started here. Couple that with the fact that in the AFC West more than any other division teams win their home games and lose on the road. I will gladly save Cinci and Cleveland's rematch later in the year in Cinci for my Bengals pick and the Bears face plenty of NFC cupcakes this year. I may be spending my Denver pick early, but they have a tough schedule down the stretch.
Week's Pick: Denver Broncos over Oakland Raiders
Teams Used: Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos

I took Chicago over Kansas City. I will win that one easily.

I wanted to save Chicago, they face plenty of NFC cupcakes this year, but that is a good pick too. Glad I didn't take Cinci or New Orleans...
