Every week I expect to put out a NCAAF Top 10 after all of that weeks games are over. I should do this Sunday night or Monday. I will show what teams improved and what teams lost ground, also. At the end of putting the team and there record on there I will say a little something about what player stood out and all that too.
There were some good games this week and you will see my rankings have changed.
1 USC (2-0)
Stafon Johnson. It's hard to pinpoint a true MVP in USC's running back-by-committee approach, but Johnson's 144 yards and one TD on 11 carries is eye-catching.
2 LSU (3-0)
Ryan Perrilloux. With Matt Flynn out, LSU's sophomore QB filled in admirably, completing 20 of 26 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns.
+ 3 Florida (3-0)
Tim Tebow. Young quarterbacks typically struggle in their first start against Tennessee. Not Tebow. His four TDs gave Florida the edge it needed.
4 Oklahoma (3-0)
Sam Bradford. Oklahoma's freshman QB put up more impressive numbers: 19-for-26 passing, 256 yards, three TDs (and one INT).
- 5 West Virginia (3-0)
Noel Devine. No surprise to see Slaton go for 137 yards, but true frosh Devine was spectacular in going for 136 rushing yards (5 carries).
+ 6 California (3-0)
Justin Forsett. Forsett enjoyed another stellar performance for the Bears. He rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries.
+ 7 Ohio State (3-0)
Todd Boeckman. In his third career start, the OSU QB was solid in a hostile environment. He finished 14-for-25 for 218 yards and two TDs.
- 8 Wisconsin (3-0)
P.J. Hill. Hill single-handedly kept Wisconsin in the game. The sophomore running back carried the ball 25 times, racking up four touchdowns and 168 yards in the win.
+ 9 Rutgers (3-0)
Mike Teel. The Rutgers QB needed only one half to get the job done. He completed 8 of 15 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns.
- 10 Texas (3-0)
Jamaal Charles. The Texas running back ran all over the Central Florida defense. Charles finished with 22 carries for 153 yards and a TD.
----------
Other notable teams that did good this Saturday and probably moved themselves up the rankings are:
Texas A&M
Hawaii
Georgia
South Carolina
Missouri
Teams that made it worse for themselves are:
Louisville
UCLA
Nebraska
Georgia Tech
Tennessee
----------
I am already counting down till next week and we will then see where all of these teams are.

#1 LSU, #2 Florida, #3 Oklahoma, #4 W. Virgina, #5 Rutgers.....the other teams on this list give up too many points to weaker teams to be given such high rankings

Agree with your first 7, but Wisconsin, Texas and Rutgers are not Top-10 worthy at this point. Good analysis though.
