I liked your version of quick hits so much, I think I'll do some of my own... 1. The Bills had as pitiful a performance as I've ever seen and I say seen because I did not actually see the Giants abomination Sunday because I was in Pittsburgh watching the other debacle. 2. J.P. and Lee Evans both said they would like to see the offense go for the deep ball early in games. I like the idea and it doesn't have to be the first play from scrimmage, but somewhere on the first couple of drives it would be a good idea to let J.P. rip one down the field. 3. I'm not a fan of Coughlin and he is to blame for much of what is going on with this team and what went on the last three years, but a lot of this same garbage went on when Fassel was there. At some point, these players have to own up to it and be blamed for being ultra soft on defense, undisciplined on both sides of the ball and allowing off-the-field drama spill out onto the field. 4. It was brought up on the radio today...It's nice that the Giants brought in Spagnuolo to run the defense and he comes from Philadelphia and that philosophy, but they had a good secondary with that system and the Giants' secondary has to be one of, if not, the worst in the NFL. Madison is several steps closer, Webster has not a big play yet in his NFL career and Gibril Wilson, while he is probably the best of a bad group, is usually good for at least one personal foul per game. 5. Will anybody win the NL Central? 6. Can I do this ahead of time and make a motion we contract the Angels from Major League Baseball? 7. Here's how I see Sunday's game in New England playing out....The Bills do go for the bomb early and hit on it, jumping on top 7-0 right off the bat and then Brady gets on the field and picks apart that defense ... Patriots 37, Bills 10 8. And while I am at it ... what's fair is fair ... The Giants play a big first half in Washington and then come out flat as a pancake in the second half ... Redskins 34 Giants 20
