I don't get it....why are we still talking about O.J. Simpson. Is there anybody else who absolutely doesn't want to hear about the trials and tribulations of an idiot ???  You know I can respect your opinion on this matter....maybe your a bif O.J. backer....but as I see it....this is and was a tremendous running back in both College and the NFL, one of the best ever.  O.J. loved and craved the limelight...he lived for it....and when it went out he didn't adjust very well....very well at all.  On the surface everything may have seemed rosey, but it wasn't.  OK officially O.J. was found "Not Guilty" on the murder rap....but does anyone really believe he didn't do it.  You know this is absolutely no knock on the guy at all....but O.J. isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer (oh I'm going straight to ____ for that one). Its not a race thing or jealousy or anything else.  O.J. is just not bright and gets bad advise from bad people. That point was accentuated this past weekend with his arrest in Las Vegas.  One of the Vics said it best...he couldn't believe it was O.J. in the room.  I understand what happened. He needs cash and lost a bunch of stuff that obviously have some value to him.  However he took the Law into his own hands and will pay for this.  Oh the guys who took his stuff are going to jail...they aren't the innocent victims they have been portrayed as....but so is O.J. Oh he is going to hire the big guns again. Race and everything else under the Sun will enter the picture.  It will be a media circus enough to make you gag.  In the end though O.J. you lucjk runs out and you go to jail. OMG did I just qrite an entire paragraph on this.  Please, please make this go away !!!

I see the Falcon signed Byron Leftwich today to a 2 year deal.  I like Byron...always have. I love what he did at Marshall, and in Jacksonville. However the fact remains that he has never completed a full NFL season....not one.  Although he claims he is healthy this year, his history, particularly he left ankle suggests otherwise. Lets face it Joey Harrington was never meant to be the starter in Atlanta...circumstances led to that reality. However the Falcons 0-2 start is not...I repeat Not Harrington's doing. Not when in two games the Falcons have given up a ridiculous 13 sacks. Even you know who........(Micheal Vick in case you missed that one) would struggle to get the Offense in motion.  Its nice to see Leftwich back in the League, but it won't help the Falcons.

Tank Johnson, while still suspended has agreed to term with the Dallas Cowboys...suddenly the haven for those nobody else will touch.  Tank this is your last chance.  Please use it well.  Hey anybody think Pacman Jones ends up in Dallas next year ???

I also see the NFL is choked that FOX showed clips from the actual video the Pats took of the Jets defensive signals. The League doesn't know how it happened, and is investigating....told you this wasn't going away anytime soon.

Finally, I have no comment on the Isiah Thomas legal woes. I don't know about you, but aren't we all getting just a little tired about talking about the crap off the field, or court in this case.  Remember when the action was the talk around the coolers.  Oh well with that stuff, what would we blog about.  Lets talk some Baseball, and the pennant races tomorrow !!!
