Not really.

It is a crisp fall day at an undiclosed location where the FanNation Hall of Fame is located. At the top of the marble steps on the outside of the magnificent building, stands a wooden podium embellished with the FanNation Hall of Fame logo. Four chairs flank the podium on either side. From the view of the audience, DetroitFan sits on the right of the podium, with hiya, PackersLP21, and C-Moore on his left. On the opposite side, Coletrain site closest to the podium, next to GoatHCW, Steelercooz, and lastly, myself.

In the crowd are various dignitaries from many countries along with all of the other members of FanNation, and Stacy. Twenty-nine percent of the crowd is excited to hear what their peers have to say.

DetroitFan, hiya, PackersLP21, and C-Moore all walk to the podium and say a few words to start the ceremonies, while I sit nervously next to Steelercooz, fixing my tie and playing with my cufflinks. As Cooz makes his speech, I am finally at peace. My good friend Cardsox, walks to the podium and introduces me. I stand up to thunderous applause and cheers (or at least that's what it is in my mind) and walk to the podium, smile, clear my throat, and start to speak...

Good day fellow FanNationers!

When I was writing my speech, I honestly did not know who to thank and give credit for to my rise to stardom. Unfortunately, if I told you that, I would be lying. And I don't like to lie. So I do know who to thank and I do know where to give credit where it is due.

When I first joined FanNation, I was lost. I had no direction. My first throwdown was against a friend who signed up with me, No doubtman Troutman, since inactive on FanNation. As you can see if you follow the link, my first throwdown was very cryptic almost and I still had a lot of work to do. Compare it to some of my latest work, and one can definitely see my evolution on FanNation.

So I started 2-0, and was looking for guidance. I found that guidance. I found the guidance to become what I am today through Throwdown Warriors. Yes, the group has basically collapsed, but I will remain a member out of loyalty and thankfulness of contributing to my 47-11-1 record. I am Spartan of Sport.

Secondly, I would like to thank Cardsox. After this throwdown, we struck an immediate friendship and have been talking like some school girls ever since. He is probably one of the smartest baseball fans I know. He gives me some advice on baseball while I give him some advice on football.

Along with Cardsox providing me with baseball guidance, Cooz has provided with the journalistic guidance I needed to become a successful blogger on the site. Cooz has really helped me decide to choose journalism as my career path.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Atroo Grou: Coletrain, Mac, chrono, Eagle Hater, Mike, League, GOAT, Ben, and all of you. It's a great experience knowing all of you on here. Also, thank you to all my fellow Packers fans out there. 2-0!

There are also some less active people I would like to thank: AirForceBat, AdamLee, BSchwartz (I'm 3-0 against you. When you get back we're going to keep it going.), Hook'em_10, and so on.

And finally, to the people who got me here in the first place: the 29% of you who had me on your ballot; DetroitFan, PackersLP21, C-Moore, and hiya for starting the group; and finally, GoatHCW and Coletrain, the first two members of the FanNation Hall of Fame. I have had throwdowns against both of them (I lost both times) and they are some of the coolest people on here, even though GoatHCW is a Ravens fan and Coletrain is a Yankees fan. People can get along.

The last person I would like to thank is the one and only Zippy the Elf, wherever you are.

So there it is. Thank you all for your support, even if you hate me. Thanks again.

So was that better than Irvin's?
