What happen to the dominant teams of the past like the steel curtain , big red machine . The last dominant team i would say would be the chicago bears when they won the super bowl and manhandle the patriots.
I was thinking about this subject this morning. Because last night the red sox got beat by the blue jays. Some people are thinking the red sox are starting to choke because they just lost 2 out of 3 to the yankees and the series before the yankees sweep the red sox.They also lose to the team that they should beat . The red sox are still the best team in baseball but they are not a dominant team . I would say watch out for the yankees in the playoff because of their lineup but i'm still picking the red sox to go all the way.
Some of the reasons there ain't anymore dominant teams.
A. salary cap
B. free agency
c. players no loyaly to team
D. greed of owners and players
E. less desire of ballplayer to play hard
F ballplayer know less of the foundation of the game they play
