Kansas City at Houston:3-20 Houston
Houston at Carolina:34-24 Houston
Houston Fans have something to be excited about this season. Matt Schaub is far and away the best thing to happem to the Texans since its creation. Ahman Green is the best rusher we've ever had. Our O-Line has started to play, and our solid Defense has made some big stops. As we get ready to face the colts this Weekend, many Houstonians are confident in a Second victory over the Colts since last season. Yet I'm just a bit concerned. Why?
Andre Can't Play
Without his playmaking ability, I don't think thatt our passing game can face this speedy Colt Defense. Andre WAS the Texnas offense. Lets face it: Ahman Just cant be a 25 carry rusher anymore if we want him to last the whole season still chugging. Our other recievers just don't have the playmaking ability as the Johnson. The Colts Defensive backfield won't have to worry about Andre busting a big play and blowing the game wide open. Andre could draw away defensive coverage vital to the Passing game. Bottom Line: without him, either Shaub or Green will have to put points on the board.
Colts Offense Will Put Points Up
Our D is solid-there isn't any denying that. But Peyton, Addai, Harrison and Wayne are some of the superstars that make up one of the Top Two Offenses in the country. Payton will do his thing, Addai will run well, and Colt's Recieving won't let up. Scoring is inevitable. The only problem is because of the reasons mentioned above, we just might not be able to match it. Even with Andre, the defending champs might prove to outman us. Without him, I can't get my hopes up...
Well, its a home game, and playing in front of Houston fans isn't the easiest thing. Iv'e been to games. Also, coming back with a win, the Colts might play Conservativley, opening up an chance open up the game. If houston can get to Red Zone, and come away with seven, not three, maybe we can get an early lead and use Green two work the clock in the second half. Our main goal should be to keep Manning and the Colts O off the feild and come away from drives with maximum points. Good Luck Texans!
