Let's change the rules for home field advantage during the World Series. I hate watching the All Star game when you have players from non-contending teams having a say whether one team gets home field advantage or not. Can't we keep the All Star Game strictly an exhibition event and not have so much attached to it?
Why doesn't MLB take each World Series contenders' inter-league records and use them as the deciding factors of who gets home field advantage during the WS? I think you would get more exciting match-ups and maybe rekindle some old rivalries.
Just throwing an idea out there. Maybe someone can pass it along to Bud.
