Ok, Bill Bilicheck got in trouble for spying on other teams' signals. That's it, right? Not quite. Now FanNation has a T&R saying NY Jets coach Eric Mangini has broken an unwritten rule/code by the coaches: not to snitch on the other coaches. So now everybody is jumping on Eric because he exposed the Patriots CHEATING.
Cheating is breaking the rules. Bill Bilicheck and the rest of the Pats broke an NFL rule. Simple as that. I have heard that the Lions and Packers just told them to stop it; they didn't bring it up to the NFL. So they're off the hook because they said "Just don't do it again". But now Mangini, who coached under Bill, actually brought it up to the NFL.
I believe he did the right thing. I'll say it again, he broke an NFL rule. Who knows how long they have been doing this? Who knows, they could have altered the outcome of a game or two by spying, it could have happened. I just don't get why Eric is getting the heat. I would've done the same thing. If somebody is doing something wrong to get an advantage over you and everyone else, stop them. It is all Bill, Eric did nothing wrong.
