As a Raider fan I could care less about JaMarcus Russell......
He is an overhyped QB who went 7-4 versus ranked teams while at LSU costing the Tigers a chance at a meaningful Bowl game. In those 11 games versus ranked teams he threw 13 TD's to 11 INT's. Not exactly great numbers.
LSU won a national title with Matt Mauck, MATT MAUCK at QB. So Russell hardly reinvented the wheel while at LSU.
Raiders have 2 capable QB's in McCown and Culpepper so as soon as possible we should deal Russell to a team willing to give up a 2nd and 3rd round draft pick and a player.
Russell has all the potential in the world to be an african american version of Heath Shuler.

2nd and 3rd rounder? You should get a first rounder and a really, really good offensive lineman. Teams bought into this complete scrub's hype. Let em bite. Shoulda gone with Calvin Johnson.

DJ,don't throw him under the bus just yet.He's a work in progress and w/o training,hard work,learning the playbook,and alot of confidence,he may turn out to be a pretty good mobile bruising QB.After all the $$$ that he got,i do have to say>>>He better!
