In response to:
Do Eagles need young QB? Well ...
Some believe that the Eagles should select a young quarterback in the draft. The Eagles insist that they remain comfortable with Donovan McNabb as their No. 1 quarterback. Until McNabb returns, nobody can be certain if his recovery from a serious knee injury will be more similar to that of Carson Palmer or Daunte Culpepper.

Eagles could benefit from a developmental QB either in the 3rd spot or on the practice team. It is good to see that we have 3 veteran QB's on the roster. There is only one catch to that... A. J. Feeley is the same age as #5, and Kelly Holcomb is (I believe) as old if not older than #5 and A. J. I think the Eagles can stand pat with what they have this year. But I'm thinking that in the next 2-3 years we will need a developmental player who can step in once Donovan McNabb decides or is unable to play any longer. I trust the Eagles will have this in mind, as it is an organization that on a whole projects and plans for the future. It is always better to be prepared now, rather than spend a few years trying to develop a QB from scratch like we had to do when McNabb was selected back in 1999 (?).
