02:31 AM ET  04.05 | The Red Sox started the season off with a bang.  A victory over the rival Yankees.  The Red Sox put up 9 runs over the Yanks 7.  Newcomers for the Sox did a great job.  Adrian Beltre got off to a nice start for the sox with a performance of  1 for 3 with 2 rbi's.  Marco Scutaro went 2 for 3 with 1 rbi.  Kevin Youkilis had one hell of a game with two doubles and one triple while driving in 2 runs.  Dustin Pedrioa hit a nice 2 run homer.  Josh Beckett seemed to struggle a bit but it's early.  The good news for the Sox is that Bard and Paplbon showed up with their good stuff.
