What were the Eagles thinking? Yellow and baby blue? Are you kidding me? Those things were terrible. They should have only gone back thirty years and broken out these bad boys.![]()
I guess bad throwbacks result in wins, but good ones result in losses. The Redskins went back to the Jurgenson days and broke out some respectable jerseys. However, Joe Gibbs made a call that cost the Skins a game. Don't spike it on first down! Just throw a quick slant. If he catches it, overtime. If he drops it, the clock stops anyways!
Mathias Kiwanuka had two sacks this game. Get use to hearing that. This guy is a beast. Coming out of Boston College, the Giants made a great pick and took him 32nd. He will be a Pro Bowler in a couple of years. Just wait.
The Patriots ran up the score against the Bills. Now everyone is in love with the Pats. I'm not. I do think they are the best team in the league, but not by much. The teams they have played have a combined 2 wins. I repeat two wins. The Colts' opponents have four. The Steelers have three. The Pats will have the best record in the NFL (14-2, 15-1), but I won't take them in the playoffs.
The Colts almost blew a lead at the end of the game. If that doesn't give every Colts fan cardiac arrest, I don't know what does. I was freaking out. No way we were going to lose to these clowns. No playoff experience. The Colts, Steelers, and Patriots are still the three best teams in the league by far. I just want to see the Colts hold a big lead.
The Steelers destroyed another good team. A healthy Roethlisberger makes a huge difference. Even though I don't like them, they still looked great. You can't deny that.
The Packers are for real. No matter what Perloff thinks, they are great. Their young talent on defense is improving, and they will contend for the NFC Championship. They are not Super Bowl contenders though, mostly because they are in the NFC.
The Cowboys won over a bad Bears team. These Bears are terrible. The offense is inept. Grossman may be the worst starting QB in recent history. I would take anybody who's ever picked up a football over this clown.
In big news, Brett Favre tied Dan Marino for the most touchdown passes in a career. Favre won't be celebrating for two long. There's a QB who is halfway through with his career that is only 140 touchdowns behind them. All this QB will have to do is average 16 touchdowns a year to break it. This QB is none other than the great one,
That's right. Peyton Manning. Nine more years left in his career. Nine more years of greatness. Nine more years of cutting that meat.
The Falcons and Bills are terrible. They might both not win a game. That would be sad.
So when is Quinn getting in?
I've ran out of thoughts...
