Alright this is my 2nd weekly edition of Phillies Weekly.
As we all know the phillies are in the mix of the playoff race. They are .5 game back of the wildcard.
Ryan Howard the 1 night was 0-4 with 4 K'S and then in his 5th at bat he steps up with the Game winning Single. Everyone is stepping up on the Phillies now.
Romero, Gordon, and Myers each pitched in 5 games in a row and with great success. Without them right now they would be like 2 games out. So thank them a lot.
The Umpires have not been so nice to the phils lately. If you remember last year in Washington, one if the last games, Utley hits a homerun and was clearly fair and they called it foul. That cost the Phillies their playoff spot.
