Well, I think quick hits have worked well during this great time of the year for sports, so let's fire it up again.
- I really think the Packers could be a top seed in the NFC this season. They are the most balanced team in the NFC North, a division where the Lions can't stop anyone and the Vikings and Bears have a hell of time scoring. Also, there will be at least two "Brett Favre" games, defined as a game where he either dominates or takes the ball with two minutes or less left in the game with a chance to win or tie the game for his team, this season.
- Sexy Rexy needs a change of scenery. I think he is mentally exhausted by his seasons in Chicago. He has the potential to be a good QB, but he is trying to do too much in the Second City.
- The Bills are in rough shape. POZ's season-ending injury will put a dark cloud over at least my next two days.
- I like to see Lane Kiffin is learning how to be a sneaky SOB.
- The three NFL fan bases that have been through the most pain and misery in the history of the NFL: Browns, Bills, and Cardinals. One man's opinion.
- If the Indians need a big inning in, say, the ALCS, do they run out Fausto Carmona even after his miserable time as a closer?
- Milton Bradley is C-R-A-Z-Y, but, boy baseball would not be the same without him. Only he could rip his ACL while engaged in a yelling match with a ref.
- Instead of Football Night in America, it should be NFC East Night in America. Seriously, all four teams in that division have been featured in at least one primetime game already in this young season. I know three teams in that division made the playoffs last season, but give me a little variety.
- As a Penn State fan, I am okay with the loss at Michigan. Yes, I would love to see the team go undefeated, BUT I really don't think they can run with USC, Florida, or LSU. I like the team, but a Rose Bowl would satisfy me.
- As much as I am over Dane Cook's act, those "There is Only One October" ads are brilliant.
