Part one was Louisville-Midd Tenn, Part two was Louisville-Kentucky, Part 3...and I promise this is the last one that they are in....Louisville-Syracuse. Louisville isn't going to be the team on the Blowout side again; if they are ever in this again they would be the underdogs. I really thought they would have came back from the Kentucky loss, but that's not how it happened...
With this NCAA Football season, you can never tell anymore who's going to win- you know, Michigan-App. State, 'Bama-Arkansas- that kind of thing. But most people would have picked Louisville in this one.
Long story short, Syracuse went into half time up 21-7. Louisville fans are sitting at home in their jerseys, T-Shirts, and hats sitting with their chips, dip, and drink during the halftime show thinking "Here we go again". End of 4th Quarter: 31-14. But those loyal Louisville fans that have to watch every second of every game- you know, the only ones left that didn't turn the channel- yeah, they had something to watch in the 4th.
Something must've gotten into those Cardinals, because all of a sudden they came to life in the final quarter of play. Either that or Syracuse slacked off. Or both. It didn't matter, Louisville lost, but they still got really close to this huge comeback. In the 4th quarter the Cards beat 'Cuse 21-7, coming up short in the game 38-35.
Now, Louisville has dropped out of the Top 25. Finally, I know. You can't lose against unranked teams and/or win in a high -scoring, close defensive battle against a nobody on a weekly basis and expect to be ranked. All I know is they aren't making Part 4, for those people who are dissapointed to see them in this series for all 3 weeks.
