Throughout the summer there was alot of excitement in the state of Wisconsin. All of the excitement has turned to shame. What was once an 8 game lead has turned into 3.5 game deficit. How you ask? Ned Yost's inability to figure out how to use his bullpen. Figure out how to use Scott Linebrink and Derrick Turnbow. I will give him credit for moving Chris Capuano to the bullpen. It seems like he has no idea what he's doing when it gets late into a meaningful game. The Brewers blew leads several times late to the Braves over the weekend, thats unacceptable. The Braves aren't playing for anything, and the Brewers, well they're supposedly playing for a playoff spot. Another problem I have with Yost is taking Ryan Braun out and repacing him with Craig Counsell. It doesnt bother me if you put Counsell in the 9th for defensive purposes, but what the are you thinking taking an at bat away from Ryan Braun. I dont get playing Gabe Gross either, you have Bill Hall. Gabe Gross is a good pinch hitter, but he doesnt need to play so consistently. Ben Sheets not staying healthy isnt helping either. Yovani Gallardo has been a pleasant surprise. But Doug Melvin if you want this team to be succesfull in the future fire Ned Yost.
