Who decided that those terrible "Throwback Uniforms" were a good idea? Almost without exception, they have been AWFUL. Ugh. And here's what I really don't understand...these things are for sale. I'm not kidding. Good luck selling those, Reebok. NFLShop.com already has them on sale.
I think that Lovie has finally decided that whatever Rex has on him isn't good enough anymore. For the first time in two years, when asked about the QB situation in Chicago, Lovie didn't say "Rex is our quarterback," (which either translated to "I don't have any better choice," or "He's blackmailing me, I have no choice," depending on who you ask). He basically said, "Come check out practice on Wednesday. Whatever guy is taking snaps from Kruetz will be our quarterback." Ouch. Sorry, Rex, but...what have you done for us lately? The schedule doesn't get any lighter (okay, MAYBE the Oakland game in November is a bit lighter), and the next three games are within the division. The Bears need a QB--a FRANCHISE QB--and fast.
I think that I'm not liking the lack of SportsCenter at 4 AM CT half of the work week. Ever since the NFL season started, I've tuned in every morning to a crap shoot...sometimes SC is on, sometimes it's a replay of soccer or some obscere baseball game. Not cool. I need my morning shot of SC. Yo, someone in Bristol...can you do something about that for me? Thanks.
I think that I really like Mike Greenberg on the Monday Kickoff Edition of SC.
I think that I am a total fan geek.
I think that my job is only good for giving me time to blog about sports and manage my fantasy team. Really, that's the most productive I am all day. I could do this full-time. Now I just need to find someone to pay me for it. Anyone interested?
