Only once out of those 16 times have the Hawks scored. ONCE! Now that is amazing. Or maybe pitiful is the proper word. Ken O'Keef, this message is for you: It is time to give up on the I formation. We have no Wr's left. So now all defenses will force us to throw. Last Saturday, every time we lined up in the I, Wisconsin had an 8 man front. It's going to be that way the rest of the year. Give it up, brother! It only gets more bleak on the injury front. Tony Moeaki (mo-ee-Ockey) was having a great season. Another one of Iowa's stud tight ends ala-Dallas Clark. Now.....sitting on the sideline with a dislocated elbow and broken wrist. Our #1 wr, Andy Brodell has a hamstring issue. In his own words, "I was running and I heard a pop" Never a good sign when it comes to hamstrings. Here's what will happen. He'll sit out 4-5 weeks, come back, hurt it again and be done for the season. All hamstrings go that way. There is one cure for all our ills. Just win baby! Bring on the Hoosiers. Oh, and probably some crutches, wheel chairs, splints, ice packs, and a couple medi-vac helicopters.
