The Toronto Maple Leafs should get a jump on Vincent LeCavalier's impending free agency following 2008... I suggest trading Kaberle or McCabe + Steen + Raycroft straight up for Vinny this season.
Tampa will not be in another bidding war for him, they will want something in return, Toronto will manage the cap space giving up one of Kaberle or McCabe, & Justin Pogge can slide into Raycroft's backup role as soon as it's completed.
Mats Sundin will probably be done in Toronto & the Leafs need, should want, to anchor their team with another top flight guy like LeCavalier down the middle.
