I West Virginia's upset loss to South Florida Steve Slaton was held to just 56 rushing yards. That's three straight losses to USF if I'm not mistaken. This effectively takes him out of Heisman contention. When Michigan was decimated by Appalachian State and Oregon Mike Hart still had huge games. Actually there were normal games for Mike, but extraordinary to us mere mortals. I think this puts Hart in the top three frontrunners along with USC's Booty and McFadden from Arkansas. I guess we'll see what he does against Northwestern and Tyrell Sutton tomorrow.
