Bud Marr of Durham, NC asks: "Should I start Laurence Maroney in week 4 against the Bengals, or swap in one of my reserves (Tatum Bell or Brian Leonard)?"
It's a tougher decision than it seems on the surface. First, take Bell out of the eqaution. His committee position on a throw-happy offensive unit makes him a backup most weeks. Maroney is averaging 84 yards per game on the ground (with zero receptions) but has lost goal line opportunities to Sammy Morris. Leonard, while not even in the same zip code with Steven Jackson, is a good back with excellent receiving skills and should see 25 touches this week in Dallas.
Even given those facts, I'd still go with Maroney who will be called upon to keep the ball out of Carson Palmer's hands and should be able to break one run into the end zone against a defense that made 2007 Jamal Lewis look like 2003 Jamal Lewis. That's no knock on Leonard who will go over 100 yards from scrimmage, just an indictment of the Bengals defense and endorsement of the Pats to pummel the opposition.

Maroney was drafted too high.
Doesn't sound like much of a choice to me.
