I know that it's an old saying but in making this oft overused statement I'm referring to the Knicks having the guts to send Isiah Thomas packing as a result of his latest round of embarrassing behavior. Creating a workplace that encourages sexual harrassment is wrong and quite frankly I know that James Dolan is in love with the fact that Thomas is driving his team into the ground (insert level of sarcasm here) whether its through bad trades or bad drafts. This man CANNOT continue as an executive of a team because he has clearly shown that he cannot handle himself. In short Isiah Thomas is to the NBA what Matt Millen is to the NFL an embarassment to his team and the league (the only difference is that whole sexual harrassment thing)
Another question I would like to bring up to gauge the reaction of the Nation is this: He coached in Indiana for a number of years who's to say that he didn't create an uncomfortable situation over there (this is hypothetical think I'm not suggesting that anything did happen in Indiana I'm just saying that with this situation maybe that shouldn't be ruled out who knows?)
In closing the only thing that I can say is this: If the Knicks want to win and win now they need to fire this piece of scum and hire someone who is competant enough to do his job.
