09:04 PM ET  10.03 | I got killed week 3 on my NFL picks,but I do it for fun nothing serious!  Week 4 i did not make any picks for this blog, cause I knew the Broncos were gonna get drilled in Indy. It still is a great time to be a Colorado Sports Fan, The Rockies made it to the playoffs for the first time in 12 years. The Avalanche look good in training camp and the Nuggets are healthy and have a positive attitude. Anyway here are my week 5 NFL picks.  Miami @ Houston, I gotta go with the favorite here. houston wins by 14.  Jacksonville @ KC, The Chiefs embarrased the mighty Chargers last week,but then again even a high school team could have done it.  I like the Jags in this one. Cleveland @ New England, The Patriots cannot be stopped by anyone at this time especially the Browns.  Carolina @ New Orleans, Carolina needs a QB and the Saints are home for a win by a field goal.  New York Jets@ New York Giants, I gotta go with the G-men on this one. Seattle @ Pittsburgh, a battle of 3-1 teams means nothing the AFC will triumph.  Arizona@ St. Louis, I have to give the win to the Cardinals especially after their win against the Steelers. Atlanta @ Tennesee, Vince Young is improving way faster than normal, the Titans get the win.  Detroit @ Washington, The New offense for the Lions will out score the Redskins.  Tampa Bay@ Indy, The Colts Look to be just as good as the Patriots at this time,no way the Bucs can win.  San Diego@ Denver. The Broncos' Defense better stop the run alot better than what they have the first four weeks or L.T. may have his breakout game in Denver, I give the win to the Broncos cause Norv Turner is an idiot compared to Shanahan.  Baltimore @ San Francisco, i give the edge to the better defense. The Ravens by 3.  Chicago@ Green Bay, Brett Favre will outshine and outscore Brian Griese.  Dallas@ Buffalo, The Class of the NFC will roll all over the poor Bills.  Well, that's it for week 5, I hope your teams do well and don't bet anymore than you're willing to lose.  Have a great weekend, cause I know I will.
