ESPN and the Pontiac GAME-CHANGING performance....is there a worse-named note in sports? This week's winner is the Auburn kicker for making the winning field goal against Florida. That's game-winning, not game-changing. Last year, there was a Tyrone Prothrow TD run-and-catch to start the game for Alabama. How does that change the game? It doesn't it sets the tone. I can count on one hand how many "game-changing" performances they actually award.
Game-changing is what turns the momentum and spurs the team to victory. It's not the play that wins the game. Call that what it is, a game-winning play.
My vent is over. Andre Woodson better make a statement in the second half if he wants to stay in the Heisman race and if UK wants to remain prevalent in the SEC East.
