Let's start focusing on individual and team performance and focus a lot less on the ones who do not deserve the focus, the ones who behave poorly (Isiah what's -his-name) , the ones who cheat (Marion), the ones who harm innocent people (Pacman Jones), the ones who commit felonies (Vick), and please no more press for PETA.
Do more research about success in collegiate sports. Write less about professional sports. The agents and lawyers have ruined it, by getting money to those who think that it's more important than integrity and effort.
Let's us fans determine and change this cycle of behavior and stop supporting pro sports.
