The Twins and Tigers are tied for first place in the Central Division at 24-17. The Central Division will be a battle between the Tigers and Twins for top position as KC and CWS are both 7.5 games back. The Twins have the upperhand at the moment with having a 15-8 record against Central Division opponents including being 4-2 against the Tigers this year. The Tigers are 9-9 against Central Division opponents. The Twins and Tigers are set to face each other 12 more times this year with the next series June 28-30 in Minnesota.
The Twins have scored 209 runs while allowing 166 runs to score as of Today including the blow out of the Brewers 15-3. The Tigers have scored 189 runs and have allowed 185 runs to score which gives the upperhand to the Twins in offense and pitching this year to date. So far the Twins are set with the advantages to win the Central Division. With that being said the Central Division champion is the Twins to win this year unless they complelty blow it.
The Twins are now 25-17 after their huge win of the Brewers 15-3. The Tigers are battling it out with the Dodgers tonight. The Tigers are now 24-18 after losing 4-1 to the dodgers.
